RV Decorating Tips for fall Just because you are traveling during the holidays doesn’t mean you can’t bring the holidays to you. What better way to make your RV feel like your home away from home than to decorate your RV with the wonders that Mother Nature holds.

Fall Wreath Craft Example[/caption] Fall is the most colorful season of the year and offers some of the best natural foliage to spruce up your RV’s décor.  Depending on your location you can create beautiful centerpieces, wall art, and floral arrangements for your RV just by stepping outside your campsite. Here are a few ideas to start. If you are camping in an area where colorful leaves are in abundance, take a hike and fill a bag with colorful leaves and small twigs from the trees to make a beautiful autumn wreath to hang on the door of your RV.  Arrange the twigs in a circular pattern on your table and bind them with twine to hold the wreath together.  Attach your leaves to the twigs using a hot glue gun or by tying on with additional twine. You can make your autumn wreath as colorful and as full as you want.

Tree Branch Candle holder[/caption] Camping near a beach or lake? No problem. Scout out a piece of driftwood; drill a few holes down the center, about an inch and a half wide, and use as a candle holder for the centerpiece of your RV’s dining table. Surround with orange and red candles, or small pumpkins and gourds to give it that “fall feel”.  When it’s time, you can change out the pumpkins and gourds and add pine cones and holly to make a Christmas centerpiece. The best DIY projects for your RV are the ones you can reuse. So, whether you are camping in the Midwest or on the coast somewhere, don’t think you have to go to some big box craft store to find the perfect decorations for your RV’s fall décor. Let the beauty of Mother Nature do it for you and create one of a kind works of art that fellow campers will be asking for.
